Chief Managing Officer
Rochelle “Shelly” Jones is Chief Managing Officer at Stewart, Seay, and Felton Trial Attorneys. A hardworking natural fixer, our “Olivia Pope”, Shelly handles everything and we mean everything. She is our Chief Financial/Marketing/Operations/ Information Officer rolled into one. Responsible for accounting, human resources, business development, marketing, and facilities, Shelly also serves as personal and legal assistant to the attorneys. Making a difference and fighting for clients fuel Shelly’s relentless passion and dedication.
Prior to helping launch Stewart, Seay & Felton, Ms. Jones has over 25 years of helping corporations succeed with leadership roles in Strategic Planning, Operations, Sales, and Consulting at companies such as Miniter Group, Executive Alliance, Travelport (formerly Worldspan), Tweaker Inc., Jenny Craig, and The Lovett School. Shelly, with her twin sister Kelly, graduated from Duke University on academic scholarships with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Development Psychology. They even found time to be Duke Blue Devil cheerleaders.
Born in New Orleans, reared in Atlanta, a powerful motivational speaker, Shelly is the proud wife of Benji, incredible mother of teens Gabriel and Shelbe, and favorite aunt of five crazy nephews. An NFL football and NCAA basketball fanatic, Shelly desires a vacation and sleep.
Amber J. Reese
Amber J. Reese joined Stewart, Seay & Felton in 2014. She graduated Magnum Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and graduated with honors with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Herzing University (ABA approved). Ms. Reese has over eight years of experience assisting attorneys in various sized firms in areas including, but not limited to, Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, Consumer Bankruptcy, Dispossessory Proceedings, and Family Law. Ms. Reese is a member of Atlanta Urban League, Gate City Bar- Paralegal Section, Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) chapter of American Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE), Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society and National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Ms. Reese was also the 2013 President of Herzing University Legal Association (HULA), and the 2010 President of the Cobb County Business Club at Strayer University. Ms. Reese enjoys volunteering, reading and dancing.
Richionda Scales has over fourteen years of experience as a paralegal. She has experience in the specialty areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and premises liability. She has worked for both plaintiff and defense firms in the Atlanta area. Richionda is currently employed with Stewart, Seay and Felton, which concentrates its practice in civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice and workers’ compensation. Mrs. Scales has worked with several law firms in the Atlanta area.
Richionda received her undergraduate degree from Emory University with a B.S. in Psychology and her paralegal certificate from the ABA approved National Center for Paralegal Training. In 2010 she was section chair of Gate City Bar Association Paralegal Section. Mrs. Scales has worn several hats within the paralegal section such as treasurer and mentor. She has also been very instrumental within the attorney section of Gate City. She has served as assistant to the executive director of Gate City and personal assistant to past president of the National Bar Association, Patricia Rosier. Mrs. Scales is also the former Vice President of Programming for Caucus of Emory Black Alumni (CEBA).
Richionda is married to Jerome Scales and they are the proud parents of three beautiful girls, Andrea, Simone and Jordan.
Cheryl Henderson is a paralegal who began her work in the legal arena in the state of Minnesota. Cheryl moved to Los Angeles where after ten years of working for a criminal defense/personal injury firm, she switched reels and went to work for in-house counsel for one of the major insurance companies in the nation. Residing in Georgia, Cheryl found her passion in plaintiff’s work and joined Attorney Chris Stewart at Morgan & Morgan in 2011. At Stewart, Seay & Felton since its inception, Cheryl has 25+ years of experience with civil litigation, personal injury, and products liability – both on the plaintiff side and defense side.
A nationally known and feared Bid Whist Master, Cheryl has attended many legal seminars and continuing legal education events throughout her many years in the field. She now assists four attorneys in the motor vehicle accident department at the firm with duties ranging from client intake, case management and case settlements. Cheryl received her degree in Early Childhood Development from Ashford University and her degree in Paralegal Studies from West Los Angeles College and is a proud member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Keisha Owens has over sixteen years of personal injury experience. She concentrates mainly in personal injury, premises liability and wrongful death. She has worked for the three of the most recognized personal injury firms in Atlanta (Montlick & Associates, Kenneth S. Nugent and Morgan & Morgan). She works exclusively alongside L. Chris Stewart and has been very instrumental in the outcome of multi-million dollar settlements. Keisha received her paralegal certificate from the University of Georgia.
Alberta Parish is a former resident of Florida who moved to Atlanta in the 1980’s. She attended Tri-Cities High School and began writing at a young age. She is the author of several books who plans to continue writing and publishing. As the caretaker of an elderly parent, she is also very active in her community and church where she has been a member since the 80’s.
